"Several months ago I suffered with severe insomnia. I couldn't get more than 3 or 4 hours of sleep a night, and sometimes I couldn't sleep at all. I tried all kinds of sleep medications and supplements without success. I saw a neurologist who specializes in sleep problems but she was of little help. "My family is in the middle of a miracle. Your CES unit is the catalyst for this miracle and we are so very grateful to you. I would like to tell you a little of our story. Although four members of the family have great stories to tell concerning the CES unit, the greatest of all the miracles concerns my grandson, Johnathan. He is eighteen years old and has been heavily medicated for more than twelve years... Even with all of this medication, he was still unable to leave his mother's presence; He was still hallucianating....and was sure someone or something was going to harm him. He has been unable to leave home, except for school...and was never able to spend the night with anyone and has had to sleep in his parents bedroom. He began using CES in July 2004. After about 8 or 9 days, my daughter called from their home in Chicago to see if I could keep him for awhile. He was feeling better and she wondered if he might be able to get on an airplane and fly here... "I wanted to let you know that for about 6 months (since Feb. 2004) I have been prescribing and using myself an electrical device about the size of a pack of cigarettes called a Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulator. The FDA has approved its use for depression, insomnia and anxiety. My own sleep has vastly improved as it has for about forty of my patients as well as lowering anxiety and giving a mood elevating feeling. The device can be ordered through Dr. Harold Stecker who distributes them out of a company called Health Directions (215-269-0400). I do recommend the units highly as they have helped many of my patients (and myself) relax. The CES seems to be a truly helpful little device that can be used while doing other activities though I wouldn't recommend driving with while in use because it is so pleasantly relaxing."
